Paddle Race

28 May 2017

Hosted by Sandgate Canoe Club

as part of the QC Race Series and Northern Marathon Series

Sandgate Canoe Club’s premier marathon paddle race is back, and we are hoping to see you on the starting line on 28th May!

ONLINE – Our user-friendly online form is overflowing with 21st Century convenience: Simply click the green button, fill out the form and submit! Payment is made on race day (EFT or cash). You’ll also get:

  • express registration on race day
  • no risk of losing your race fee if, for some reason, you can’t paddle on 28th May
  • email notifications with race info in the lead up to the event

Please note that online entries close at 5pm on Saturday, 27th May. Don’t miss out, or the following primitive options will be your only means of achieving Wetlands Wander greatness:

WRITING STICK AND PAPER – you can download our flyer by clicking the black button. Print out the pdf document, fill out the form using your favourite biro and bring it on the day.

THE UNNANOUNCED APPROACH – turn up on the day and start filling out forms while your rivals warm up!

Obviously the organisers prefer that you nominate online before the day. For the first time our volunteers will be timing using Webscorer technology, and having the competitor database ready before the day will be of great assistance.  After all, a better prepared, more efficient event benefits competitors, spectators and volunteers alike.
